Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a relatively recent development in the world of rejuvenation. Using the body’s own blood components to stimulate growth, it can be used in a wide range of applications including to improve skin quality, repair scarring and prevent hair loss.
A small amount of blood is taken and placed in a centrifuge to separate the stem cells and growth factors which promote healing. These are then injected back into the areas which need it.
